Hello everyone! My name is Saranya and I am professional certified tutor with a combined 8000 hours of tutoring experience over the years. I've had a diverse group of students over the years. Students with ADHD, autism, anxiety, dyslexia, dyscalculia, gifted learners, and adults going back to school after a while. I also have a years worth of teaching experience in the public school environment. I currently work at Collin College as a full-time Math Lab Instructor(basically a professional tutor) at my daytime job and I also work as a part-time math teacher at a learning center for K-12 and SAT math. I really enjoy tutoring and helping students find their niche in math. Math can be a difficult subject for some but I hope to make it not so intimidating and hope to impart my love for the subject. I firmly believe everyone has the potential to succeed in their courses and educational goals, and will encourage my students to believe the same in their sessions. There are no stupid questions in my sessions and I hope to make my students feel as comfortable as possible to be free to ask. I not only teach the subjects but study skills and test-taking strategies as well. Because I want you to get a feel for my tutoring style, my first session is half off, and then you can decide if you'd like to continue to see if I'm a good match for you.
